Handbuilt ceramic sculpture
In Between brings together multiple forms within one sculptural body. Openings, curves, and layered volumes create a sense of movement, asking the viewer to look through, around, and between the piece rather than from a single fixed position.
Handbuilt intuitively in ceramic, the work developed without a predetermined plan. Through touch, response, and adjustment, the form gradually revealed itself, allowing balance, tension, and spatial relationships to guide its final shape.
By drawing attention to what happens between forms — between openings, surfaces, and viewpoints — In Between reflects on how perception shifts through movement, and how meaning often emerges in the spaces that connect things rather than separate them.
